Today is Peter New's birthday, he is the talented man who voiced Big Macintosh, Doctor Stable/Caramel, Doctor Whooves (frequently called Time Turner) and many other characters. More recently, he's taken up the mantle of Discord for Pony Life, suggesting he might have been the "poor man's John De Lancie" they were originally going to cast for the role before someone suggested they get the real deal.
Happy birthday, Peter. You're definitely among the list of voice actors from Vancouver who've been made more publicly known thanks to the legacy of this show. And I hope you'll continue to have a successful career for years to come!

5388712 I think Tony's actually been voiced most recently by J. K. Simmons a.k.a J. Jonah Jameson. I could be wrong though, because some commercials have used archival recordings of Thural Ravenscroft.
