    I'm an animator now

I can be found on twitter and I make stuff surrounding Hellhounds. Even set up a Patreon for it but nothing has really taken off.

    A tossed aside storyline

I decided to release all my previously planned storylines that I had drawn up and I have a LOT of them, and some are vague, some are detailed, and more than a few aren't even MLP related. I think that by having to throw my ideas out in the wild, I could re-examine them. Ideas are only as good as the execution, so I don't believe any of them are good due to my failure to complete the stories

Rock and Stone! Some writing prompts on the side

So update from last time. I managed to find a new job by pure chance, and how I got hired is a tad strange to me. So I was walking around looking for buildings that had the whole "WE ARE HIRING" poster on the front, and whilst waltzing past some building under construction I took a look at one of the papers plastered on the side of it. Within a second of me stopping in front of the building to

    Compulsive lies

I tend to lie through admission rather often. It's a bad habit of mine that happens either on accident or on purpose, and my most recent lie through admission would be in regards to my work. I quit my job. Had a two, more like three, week notice too. This important news has not been conveyed to literally anyone of my friends or family. This is not the first time I've done this, albeit the first

    Late Merry Christmas

Here's another log for the sometimes monthly diary so I don't ever forget who I used to be once the years pass by. I don't particularly celebrate christmas all that much, but merry christmas all the same. This year's holidays was both disappointing and wasn't at the same time, and for a reason that makes me feel like a hypocrite upon trying to type it out, since I generally disliked

More Ramblings · 7:40pm Oct 23rd, 2020

Been about a month since my last blog post, so I thought I'd do another update. I've been a little vacant for most of the time just being pulled around by various things that interested me, for example Vigil: The Longest Night came out which was a game I tested a year ago and even livestreamed. The game was a big disappointment to say the least, tons of bugs right off the bat that weren't even there in the previous build I played. While many of the bugs that were initially found were fixed the fact that new ones took their place was...disheartening. They are working on more patches as a new one came out recently. I was just hoping that there wouldn't be as many bugs as there were, I feel like I didn't contribute at all seeing it. Admittedly I probably didn't since I just played a demo build and submitted bugs I found and wasn't taken full on as a paid tester.

As for other developments I've been seeing the news on the Oculus Quest 2. Definitely a release that had me looking at VR again and back into looking at the varying uses it has, which leads me to rehabilitation and prosthetic limbs. The gaming aspect of VR is neat and all, but the thing that gets is outside of that. Just being able to see how full body tracking and simulating the senses can train firefighters and pilots is something that'll never cease to intrigue me and seeing how they've been able to make a working omnitreadmill just sends how far this can go to greater heights. Despite my enjoyment at doing a little research into these things I've yet to actually work at getting a job in that field. Namely I haven't even attempted college yet.

For more additional ramblings I've started playing fighting games a whole lot more. I play Guilty Gear Xrd 2 and Guilty Gear Accent Core R+ and in both I like playing as Venom and Slayer...tho the friend that plays Accent Core plays as a guy that phases through shit and even has moves that counter if you attack and attack anyways if you don't attack, so playing Venom is just hell. Then I started playing Blazblue and picked up Relius Clover the puppet character of the game. I had a lot more fun playing him than I did in GG purely cause my opponents can't just phase through all the set-up I try to do. Not to say Blazblue doesn't have some BS since Taokaka can just grab you from across the screen...even if there's a simple way to avoid it by crouching I still don't like it. It's like shooting someone and telling them to just dodge the bullet after they get hit.

Well enough of that rambling I guess that sums up my current thoughts. This is a pretty good place to vent and get my actions clear to myself. Being able to look back on things I may have forgotten by having them written up is useful, like an archive that'll never truly go away. I really should try and finish what I started.
