Hello my Bronies & Pegasisters!
As most of you know ten years ago today My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic aired for the first time. So as a way of celebrating this occasion I have decided to share with you how I became a fan of this show, and as a bonus how I found FimFiction
As much as I would now wish otherwise, I did not immediately take interest to this show. Since I was already in college at the time it came out I was only able to see it as a show who's target demographic was obviously little girls. So I decided to ignore this series and move on with my life.
It wasn't until early 2019 when I finally decided to give this series a chance. I was randomly looking through YouTube, when I had seen a video in my recommended list for My little Pony, I do not recall what the exact video was but I want to say It was a Montage of Princess Luna during the Nightmare Night episode. I enjoyed the comedy, and overall adorableness of the Night Princess, and continued to look for more. Alongside Princess Luna I also enjoyed seeing scenes that involved Trixie and Maud. Along the way I found fan-based animations and Comic dubs by Youtubers such as Obab Scribbler And Agent Fluffy, which gave a more comedic and more belivable representation of the show.
Eventually After discovering Equestria Girls, which made me interested to see the girls in a more humanized environment, I had finally convinced myself to give the show a try, And thanks to services like Netflix, YouTube and the PlayStation store I was able to see 9 years worth of content in a little over a month.
Even though the show did have the moments I was initially afraid of, It also had good comedy, great Animation, and above well developed and likable characters. If there is one thing I loved most about this show, it was how easily you can love its characters in as little as one scene. Of course there are exceptions to this, but I hope to go more into that at another time.
Since I also had an interest in taking Personality Quizzes I decided to check out some MLP themed quizzes, although most were pretty simplistic there were some that went into detail about some of the characters, which not only gave me a new understanding of the characters but it also helped me create my own OC, and namesake of my profile, Bumblebeau.
Eventually I wanted to look for more ways I could enjoy this franchise so I decided to give fanfictions a try, and since I kept hearing the best source of MLP Fanfictions was this site right here, I decided to become a member of Fimfiction.
So there's my Brony Origin story, If I have any regrets about it it's that it didn't happen much sooner.
So what's your Brony/Pegasister story? What initially made you decide to give this show a try, and what do you love most about it?

I'll summarize it because I'm tired of always explaining it:
- 2016, I bumped into a video of a Hispanic youtuber, in which he made a joke about MLP. Since it was a joke, I didn't care a lot about it.
- 2017: After a few times having heard of the series, I coincidently watched again that same video and heard the joke. Then, after thinking about it for a few minutes, I decided to give it a try. I ended up liking the show and watched the seasons that were on Netflix.
- 2018: This was the most inactive year for me in the fandom, I barely did anything on it.
- 2019: Since I began to write some stories, I searched websites where I could publish my stories and try to improve both my English, grammatical and story ideas. I made a few crossovers, but they all failed.
- 2020: This is the big one for me since, by then, I liked more the fandom than the series. Then, after trying a few more ideas and concepts... it was at one night that an idea came into my mind and executed it... the result "The Night of Truth" story and the beginning of my "Alfredverse".
A curious story, in my opinion.
That's it? Dang...... I have a whole backstory as well!...... I think.

I think we both know the only reason Fallout likes this show is for the Plot!
Oh the plot huh? That must mean he is a connoseur for stories with high moral standards, right?
Actually I think he likes the Characters more! just like me! I love all the characters!
