A question of worth · 3:33am Jun 6th, 2022
*At Bumble’s birthday lunch, he is on a double date with Twilight Sparkle, and Fallout Shieldhunter with his universe’s Pinkie Pie. Things are going great until the boys get into a heated philosophical debate.*
Nuh uh man, the Alicorn Scrolls are the best! It’s about having Adventures in a world that’s alive with Magic, not to mention it has so many more options for Role play!
“No chance, man! The Little Pip series is way better! It’s a testament to the endurance of the human soul by forcing them to survive in a dead civilization. Plus the Power Armor is super awesome!”
Yeah but only in the fourth game! Before that putting on power armor was about as exciting as putting on a new pair of pants!
“Oh yeah? Well it’s been ten years and all the Alicorn Scrolls has done is re-release the same game.”
Hey, it’s gotten a lot of new features since then!
“Oh yeah, because we really needed a new Fishing Mechanic! The Little Pip series has a scavenging system that makes every piece of garbage feel like it has a purpose! The same tin can you find on the ground can be used to upgrade your Minigun!”
Yeah, but you’re only going to play one build! The Alicorn Scrolls gives you many different classes for multiple playthroughs!
“Oh yeah, so you can replay the same wagon scene a dozen times? When are you going to wake up man?”
*As the boys continue their Conversation, the girls share their thoughts.*
So do you have a preference?
Not really, I just love seeing Honey Bunny play the game he loves! I also love giving him hugs and kisses while he plays them!
Huh, well I do like the Lore of the Alicorn Scrolls better, but I’ll also admit I enjoyed the story of the third Little Pip game the best!
“Ha! Your waifu likes my series better!”
Shut up!
But I do have one problem with the Little Pip series… why do they use bottlecaps for currency?
“What?”
I mean what in the world possessed them to think using bottlecaps, of all things, was a better idea then Trading for goods, resources, or even ammunition?
“W- well… um…”
Well, if you think about it, this is a post apocalyptic future, which takes place after civilization is used to the idea that we use currency rather then trading resources; and the use of Bottlecaps is their way of trying to keep a piece of the civilization they lost.
O- okay… but why Bottlecaps?
Well most money is rotted from nuclear exposure, or just aged by time itself. And since all the factories that create new dollar bills are in ruins, they had no choice but to make use of whatever they could find.
… … … alright, but how do they decide what a bottlecap is worth? Why don’t they use coins instead?
Well, the buildings weren’t the only thing that collapsed in the fallout; the government that dictates money, and its worth, are all gone. So it was left to the people to decide what a quarter was worth, and how valuable a bottlecap is.
But… why Bottlecaps? How did everyone decide to use caps instead of literally anything else?
Well those Nuka-Cola caps must have been worth something, I mean there was a whole Theme Park dedicated to soda!
*Twilight sat there bewildered as Fallout Pulled his girlfriend closer and gave her a big kiss on her forehead.*
“When we get home you are getting extra cuddles!”
Sorry for the late Blog, but i was busy enjoying my Birthday and recovering from feeling under the weather.
Just so you know, the Alicorn Scrolls is based after The Elder Scrolls, and the Little Pip series is based after the Fallout series (which i had to use thanks to a certain someone being a guest character.)
Which by the way, Fallout Shieldhunter is owned by Fallout Dude 50
Sorry again for the late message and everypony have a wonderful day!
Hahaha happy birthday man I loved this
