Friendship is Magic Twelve Years Ago Today

I can't believe that amount of time already passed!! :pinkiegasp: Twelve years since FiM premiered for the first time and the fandom is still alive. That's just awesome. :rainbowdetermined2:

Second Live Action FMA Movie Now on Netflix

The title says it all... The full title is "Fullmetal Alchemist the Revenge of Scar." The third (and final movie) will be available next month (maybe...?).

Long Story Short, Bad News, and Good News · 11:32pm Sep 30th, 2020

What's up? It's been way too long since my blog. I've been mostly lurking around the site reading other stories over the years. So many things in my personal life caused me to lose the will to continue writing my current story. To make a long story short, I was honorably discharged from active duty in 2017 and settled down with my new job several months later. A year and a half later, I decided to join the Reserve and I'm still in it. In the near future, I'm going to get retrained for my new Army MOS.

BAD NEWS
I should probably knock this one out first before going to the good news. I need to get this off my chest sooner or later. Anyway, I thought about a certain thing for quite a while already and it pains me having to ultimately make this decision. I was hoping it will never come down to this despite every roadblock in my life, but I have decided to cancel my first story indefinitely. Again, so many things in my personal life made me lose inspiration to continue my story. It was fun while it lasted but I soon realized it was going nowhere real quick. I would like to thank FrontSevens for being my story editor. I know my story didn't last long, but I still appreciate your help.

I'm sorry to all those who were waiting for a continuation of my story.

GOOD NEWS
There's been a number of stories I read over the years. Recently, I started following a few writers here. I won't tell you who but after reading their stories, I started writing two new stories of my own. The first one is a crossover story that I've been working on since 2014 as some sort of coping mechanism for my situation with my current story which I, unfortunately, decided to cancel. I plan to publish my crossover story real soon... Probably sooner than intended...

The second new story has been in the works earlier this year since before Summer. It's just nowhere near ready, but I'll get there.

That is all.

I regret not pursuing other avenues after getting all but shown the door from the recruiter's initial testing facilities. I had aced the simple written test and passed all of the physical testing until it got to my atrocious vision. Started with the eye chart and the first thing he asked was to take off the glasses. Can't see anything. Ok, get up from the chair. Nope. Walk towards the chart? Still nope. He stopped me when I was halfway to the chart... Needless to say, that ended it right there. I can only surmise they're afraid I'll lose my glasses and shoot the General by accident. Possible. But I also got 3rd place for Sharpshooting at the gun club I was part of back in '87 (was 18 at the time) using ye olde army surplus 22's (I think?).

Last time I checked in the 90's my vision was somewhere around 1200/20 and it's probably twice that now that I'm +50.
