Cool, almost two months since I updated SSME last. Sorry to anyone who's been waiting on the next chapter, I wrote 18k words over August but it was a two-chapter instalment for ~!!!the sexy fic!!!~ and since September began a combination of furniture dismantlement, a programming contest and a general need to decompress after writing all that meant I've stalled hard, and I'd only written about 350 words of a new chapter before last night. I know not everyone is into reading M-rated clop stuff (not judging, that's fair, but it won't stop me writing it cuz it's fun 😋) even though that's where my words all went and I apologise to those people, again, and yeah I know I apologise too much but you know how it is...!

Anyway, I'm just writing this blog post to signal that no, I haven't abandoned anything, and yes, I'm working on it. Fingers crossed for the next chapter by the month's end (early October for sure), and also to keep the momentum up beyond that! Without spoiling anything, it's a mining expedition that goes mildly awry

😅 Lol, I feel sort of bad for correcting you again but uh, you did! You already read it! I meant that last story I wrote last month, the long one!!

I have no idea when the next one will come along... definitely don't rule it out but probably not soon, whenever I get tired of making them almost kiss again
