"Fluff" in the same way what collects under the sofa is fluff.

With my child on an apparent WALL-E watching binge I am reminded that it contains a dynamic that is a very particular soft spot of mine:

Was in a pet shop the other day. They had a big box of things you could throw for you dog. Among them were branded items. Among the branded items were MLP products.

I'm not sure if it's me, but it feels oddly grim to purcahse a Rainbow Dash exclusively for your dog to maul.

    Suppose there's a possibility they'll be gentle, but still. It's a risk, isn't it?

Oh yes, this - I hadn't been aware of this but this happened, too:

For the longest time I was racked with curiosity as to where the TVTropes redirects for And When the Darkness Comes Around were coming from and I had almost given up hope on finding out the source, only to finally discover what it is.

I will never stop being amused at the consternation and confusion of some when confronted by my mastery of the tagging system.

There's been a strange burst on folks having a look at "Just Tell Me The Nasty Bits" and that sort of thing always baffles me with its mystery - what led them to this ancient, dusty portion of my back catalogue?

I mean I just felt like re-reading the whole series. Can't rightly say for other folks though.

Alright you're off the hook but everyone else got some explaining to do.

In fact, re-reading seems rather suspicious...

5335481
I mean... Reading.. yes definitely reading for the first time..

you, right now, making this post

5335484
What have I wrought?!

What you deserve

Speaking seriously i would say it has to do with whatever sorcery goes on with fimfic's recommended stories feature. I was recently reading through some stories off my "read it later" bookshelves and i had a little adventure through stories from 2012-16, as a result. So if someone was doing the same, they might be recommended older works that are "similar" of which your works might be lumped in with.

Of course, it could just be people rereading your previous works for giggles or someone who has just discovered you going back through your previous history to see what else you've did.

Ah, so now we know the answer.

Ahem. But yes. It'll likely be something like that, it's just when it happens with a clutch of folks it all seems so...

...coincidental.

All in good fun.

Those were some fun stories weren't they? Sure, I'll go for another loop around. Always fun to see Rainbow sidling around the question of romantic attraction, like a cat sneaking up on your laptop.

Just Tell Me The Nasty Bits is the first of your stories I read my friend.

honestly for me it because i joined at a certain point and haven't read your older stories so when ever i got some time and nothing to read i go back to your older works and pick one

I loved Just Tell Me The Nasty Bits!!! While I love fluff, I do so enjoy the slightly darker elements that creep into the story. Especially since they don’t fell dark and edgy for dark and edgy’s sake, but feel like the natural result of an equestrians view (idealist utopian) on human history.

Probably best to start with that one, all told. The top of the slippery slope that is my breathtaking career.

There is an ever-increasing number to pick from...

Plan is to die and leave a beautiful body...

...of work. Ba dum psh.

I have a soft spot for, well, s'a cartoon n' such so, like, whizzbang magic and stuff happens and sometimes shit does get real, but it's all ultimately in good fun but humans got some occasionally depressingly pointless shit to trudge through and I like rubbing these two things together.

If you follow.

That and, you know, hugging horses. Apparently. Apparently that's a thing I like.

Well, this got me to go back and read it, and I ain't complaining. That was a sweet little story.
