I am a fan of fighting games. I have been most of my life, and have played them off and on. Hell, I even won a local smash tournament once upon a time, so I've been dedicated a few times to these sorts of games.
But now-a-days I am much more interested in 2D fighters such as Street Fighter. I grew up with them, but as my tastes change, so does my preferred fighting games. Which, brings me to the point of this blog. Them's Fightin Herds, by Mane6, is a fantastic fighting game that has won my heart. I have put eight hours into the game from my free time these past few days, which has been basically all my free time.
I spent half of it in training mode, which is in depth and great for newcomers for fighting games, and also fighting my friends as I grow to learn the game more and more. It's been a real bright spot in my life atm as 2020 does its 2020 thing. Simple escapism like this, plus the self-improvement from it, is something I hold dear.
Plus I'm competitive at heart. Fight me.
No, for real. This blog is meant to get people interested who own the game to come and fight against me and my friends in Them's Fightin Herds. The more the merrier, and the more I can grow as a player from the experience. Plus, if you are new to fighting games, it'd be great fun seeing you grow to enjoy them through game sessions with me an the bros.
Which means I need to know who is interested in joining. You can either comment on this blog if you are interested, or directly message me that you want in on these gaming sessions.
While there is no actual dedicated time, I tend to be online often enough, given I now work morning shift. If I'm not around, my other friends who play the game should be online, and you can play amongst yourselves for practice and fun.
Note: I am going to bed, so I can get to the comments and messages after I get off work around noon pacific standard time.

The game is quite fun and i often get sucked in and try to play them. I find the skill discrepancy all to often is the barrier though.
