Well, blame my creativity and indecisiveness.
I've come up with a new Ghost Recon story. One that's quite different from the ones I've done in the past. First of all, it's set in an AU where Equestria has been conquered by the forces of the land of Eqaharion, which was once the land all Equines lived in before the tale of Hearth's Warming Eve, three months after Tirek's defeat. They have subjugated all Equestria apart from the Crystal Empire and a few resistance holdouts, Twilight Sparkle is the imprisoned bride of the Eqaharian Prince, the Elements of Harmony are scattered, and Celestia and Luna have vanished.
However, in a last-ditch attempt to save Equestria, Twilight Sparkle sent a hastily prepared magical distress beacon through the Mirror Portal, intended for Sunset Shimmer, but it never reached her.
The beacon was intercepted by the US Military, and upon realizing the threat that could come to Earth, the President deploys four Teams from the US Army's 5th Special Forces Group, or Ghost Recon, to topple the Eqharian Dynasty and free Equestria, in an operation known as Echo Solace.
Its coming soon, and it's gonna be epic.

They will either need to contact Sunset or will be investigated by her.... Either way sunset would not take this sitting down.
