Virginia Dare was the first English child born in the New World on August 18, 1587. Born in the Colony of Roanoke to Ananias and Ellenore Dare, she and her entire colony were sucked into Equestria on May 26, 1589. Celestia invited the Roanoke Colonists to Canterlot, where they remained Obmanshchik, now of the Elements of Chaos, used the chaos in their hearts to enslave most of the colonists. As the humans rioted in Canterlot, Ellenor resisted Obmanshchik's magic long enough to bring Virginia into Celestia's care. Ellenor finally fell to Obmanshchik's influence after Ananias sacrificed himself to protect her and Virginia. Celestia raised Virginia and trained her in the ways of magic until she was ready to fight. Alongside her friend, Razer the Dragon, she defeated the Elements of Chaos and their leader Blutknochen. She was the last human Equestria (as far as Celestia knows) before Jack's arrival, finally passing on July 6, 1657.
