Alright First. I am still Alive. My attention has just been very distracted
Secondly, I want to shout out to a few friends that I have been Remiss in talking too.
True Edge - I look forward to what you're planning. Whatever it is. But please don't pull a Jaycren and forget others exist. Not my favorite personality trait.
Equestrian Twist - Speaking of Forgetting others exist. Wow man, I am so sorry. I swear I will edit that chapter of FIM: Gotham of yours you sent me, hopefully. Just as soon as I kill some of my other projects. Also, I apologize if I have been silent for way too long.
Also I owe an apology to Thundericebreeze, sorry I was short with you. I am afraid you caught me after I had to deal with some people that should have known better. That lingering suspicious disappointment got transferred to you. I tried to follow up my last message with something more encouraging but I don't think you saw it. You just caught me at a bad moment. I am normally way better than that.
Now, I have been radio silent for some time. Kinda been a bit of a lurker honestly. So gonna explain my reasons. First, technical problems have made it hard to both write and post blogs. Kinda had to fix more then a few things.
Second, I kinda burnt myself out. I have 18 stories here, 1 story over on AO3, 5 stories on Fanfiction, 3 stories on Fictionpress, and 1 story I am doing for the writing prompt on Webnovel. Not to mention the duplicate stories I want to transfer over, the sequels that are already planned, the reboot of My gamer fic, and managing my Deviant Art page. Yeah, I way overloaded myself. I am 40. I work seven days a week between two jobs. Not the best way to budget my time.
Thirdly, Chrovid - 13 hit my family hard. Many of my relatives were in the midwest and fairly old. Did not go well. Professionally it hit me hard too. My main job was fine but the masks restrict my breathing and fog up my glasses. Which leads to triggering my migraines. My second job shut down, although they did agree to pay me for the average hours I would have worked. Which was nice but still was a big loss. They did keep me on call for various other things that needed to be done. I am not around people there so that was never an issue.
Fourthly, My Girlfriend NotJohnHarker slipped on her way to pick me up. She rebroke an old ankle injury and has been staying with me since. Not how I wanted my Girlfriend to move in. This happened last holiday season and has been an ongoing thing. She is finally going to get back to work this Monday. Wish her luck, she gonna need it.
Fifthly, My Grandmother died. The woman at 90 - something had outlived all her friends and everyone she ever had a grudge with. Chrovid meant I couldn't spend much time with her towards the end. Difficult to navigate phone extensions meant it was hard to contact her. I did get to say goodbye but that was it. There will be no funeral, nor service. She will be cremated and stuck in the ground next to her husband. Which is a tradition in my family. If you didn't want to see us alive you do not get to mourn us in death. On top of this, family issues make my feelings on her death very complicated.
So yeah, that all dumped on me since I posted last in Dec. I am feeling better but going to be easing my way back into things. First, I'll be finishing all of my incomplete stories here one by one then beginning writing their sequels. This will happen from oldest to newest, as fans of my older stuff have had to wait the longest after all. I will also be doing that same on the other sites I belong too. I will post more at a later date. Once I get done here I am also going to devote more of my time to getting my gamer fic off the ground. This will be my mainstay for a bit. The story I am writing over on Webnovel will join it. Both will update once a week/month. I am also working on my own original work, but that is so far in the future I have no idea when I will start that, if ever.
In short I felt I owed a bit of an explanation to you guys and I wanted to assure you that I was still Alive and I am getting back into things. This is bit of a long post, sorry for that.
