    One Year Later...

Has it really been a year since FiM wrapped up? Where did all that time go?

Why have I only published those three things in that time? Where did my spark go, the one I had back in 2018 and 2019? All those electronic pages stored on the cloud, birthed by the inspiration of the mind, collecting electronic dust as time marches on.

Lots of things happened on this day.

In 732, Frankish king Charles Martel defeated an Umayyad army at the Battle of Tours.

In 1846, Triton, Neptune's largest moon, was discovered by English astronomer William Lassell.

In 1928, Chiang Kai-Shek became the Chairman of the Republic of China.

In 1970, Fiji gained it's independence from the United Kingdom.

Guys, I think Pinkie Pie may be undead. · 11:03pm Jun 11th, 2020

And here's why:

  • Firstly, she parties a lot, cultivating the image of a mare with lots of joie de vivre, being the life of the party. Which is exactly what an undead being would do to keep their status a secret. What, you're really gonna suspect the party animal of being a lifeless corpse? Get outta here!
  • Pinkie was the first friend that Twilight made in Ponyville, and she gasped loudly when she first caught sight of her. Now, we know that Twilight Sparkle knows and has used necromantic spells to bring the dead to life, hence why Spike exists. Therefore, is it really that much of a stretch to assume that Twilight raised Pinkie Pie from the dead as part of a school project or something to that effect, then got drunk and forgot about her, only to then meet her again later? It even explains Pinkie's gasp when she meets Twilight; wouldn't you if you met the being who gave you life?
  • When we see Pinkie Pie's family, they're noticeably old-fashioned, even Amish, in their practices and traditions. In the real world, there are still thriving communities of Amish people. Yet, in Equestria, we only really see Pinkie Pie's family doing this. On top of that, they live on a rock farm, and appear to eat rocks as food. I don't know about you, but I don't consider rocks to be very nutritious as food. But, what if the Pie family didn't need to eat nutritious food on account of not being alive in the first place? It would certainly explain how they can survive on a farm that's nothing but dust and rocks.
  • In the Season 6 episode 28 Pranks Later, Rainbow Dash pranks a little too hard, making everyone mad at her. Pinkie Pie tries to get her to stop, Rainbow refuses, so Pinkie...fakes a zombie apocalypse to scare her into compliance? Why is that the first thing she thinks of when she thinks 'revenge'? Could it be that it's subconscious on her part? She thinks of solutions that could be performed successfully by zombies because she is a zombie herself?
  • During the future sequence of The Last Problem, we see the Mane Six looking older, with wrinkles on their faces and new, more old-fashioned clothing for those that wear it. Except, hold on, Pinkie Pie doesn't seem to have aged much here at all. Her wrinkles are barely even noticable, and besides the new hairstyle and foal, she seems exactly the same as the Pinkie we know and love. Could it be that, as a being technically dead, she doesn't quite age like a normal pony would?

For those of you saying, "But how can Pinkie Pie have a foal if she's undead?", how do we know that the foal is biologically hers? She could've adopted Little Cheese, used a surrogate mother, or even used magic to conceive a foal.

I started writing this as kind of a joke, but now I'm actually starting to believe it a bit. Help me.

Pinkie's gotten exhausted, poisoned, mind controlled... If she is undead, she's definitely not a typical example.

Maybe it's less Animate Dead and more True Resurrection.

Well now we're arguing whether restoring all vital functions and the soul to a once-dead body qualifies as undeath.

That is a good question...that I don't feel like having a debate over right now, so let's just say it isn't and call it a day. :rainbowlaugh:

IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW.
