Operation Pridefall is a supposed raid organized by 4chan users to try and spread anti-LGBTQ messages on social media and harass brands that support the LGBTQ community during June, which is also Pride Month, of 2020. As of May 29th, 2020, it is unclear if the raid is a sincere campaign or a means of trolling.
While I still don't know if this is someone's idea of a sick joke or a real deal, please be careful. If you see anyone, and I mean *anyone* you don't know messaging you, be careful. There are possibilities of your IP being stolen, or you getting doxed. I don't want to scare anyone, and I'm sorry if I do, but we can't be too careful. Until we know if this is a bad joke or the real deal, assume the latter.
Jeez... thanks for the heads-up.
Also? Christ alive...
The fact that it's unclear if this is a troll or serious says enough, doesn't it?

And what exactly would it say?
So lots of stories talking about it potentially happening but no actual stories of it happening huh.
Same stuff every year, at least they change the name of the "operation" i guess. Some troll posts for a day and then thats it. The panic over it lasting for weeks before and weeks after though. Probably why they do it year after year since people still keep panicking.

It's happened before?

Every year for years as far as i remember, maybe not always on the same day but at least once a year twitter/tumblr/DA and others freak out because 4chan trolls them.
