Trying out a new format for the Character Blog entries. Maybe this will look better and I may even add comments from bellow with responses. Just thinking of ways to add to this kind of story entry, or just make it better in some way.

Learning about oneself.

If it's alright, I'm just going to write how I know. Much like how many of you here use "person" to describe any number of creatures, I'll go with what I grew up knowing. (I had to correct my last post too many times.)
Throughout your life you get comfortable in what you know about yourself. Be it black and white, or shades of gray. Generally you understand yourself, even if it's not clear to everypony else.
And then something happens. You learn something new, you make a new friend, you meet somepony. And for some, this new part of yourself is met with interest and acceptance.
For others, everything crashes down around you. Shades of gray become black and white, or even harder, black and white becomes shades of gray. You no longer know yourself and have to spend time understanding and you may feel alone.
Learning about yourself is something that never really ends, no matter how much you consider everything going on. There's always something out there to show you something different, some exception you never accounted for. Don't be afraid to keep learning about yourself, you may find that something new could fill a hole you never even knew was there.

Those thoughts are very true. We each keep evolving and rethinking how we understand not only the world around us but how we react to it. If we don't, we won't ever grow into the best we can be.
