Apparently, my story, Return of the Dark Lord, a Tolkien Crossover, isn't MLP Related to stay submitted.

I just.....how was it not MLP related? It has Sauron, TURNING INTO A FREAKING PONY! Like, how?! Apparently, if you can switch out a few words, it isn't mlp related enough? Like, what words can be switched out?! I specify, that Sauron thinks his new form looks like a pony of sorts.
"Interesting," Sauron mused aloud. He did a double-take, that wasn't Black Speech. "Very interesting. It seems I am unable to speak in Black Speech. And it seems I am some sort of Equine."
OK, maybe that wasn't clear enough. I can change it to where he says pony.
But, what's the terms and words one would "sub out"? I am genuinely curious.
Anyway, tell me what you guys think of this mess. Its to early for me to go on a rant. I'll resubmit it, and update it, so look out for it!

I think it just some are very picky and if it doesn't fit with the rules well more of there version of the rules. I know a fair bit as it can be taken different ways to how it is pony-related with some people they can tell it is pony related just with subtle hints that become obvious when they read it. others you may have to actually shove it in there face for them to know it is pony related
I think you got unlucky with the one that reviewed your story. the person that dismissed may need it to be shoved into there face before they take it as pony related

Well my take: Sauron did become a pony, yes, but that doesn't mean it was related to MLP. Being MLP related would mean being in the world of Equestria and beyond, along with having MLP characters. The chapter at the moment had none of those yet. You'll have to take the Plums route and upload more than one chapter if you want that up. Leap's prologue has almost nothing to do with MLP, having just mere mentions of the first two movies and Sunset, so that couldn't go as well.

and any people who do reviews for submitting on here am not insulting you. I bet it is a hard job to do, sometimes mistakes happen and it's understandable. but there are keywords 'pony' is an obvious one. 'equine' is more subtle but knowing the world of mlp it can hold short for someone that lives in Equestria. yes, it can be vague but it's one way to tell if you know of it.
now not everyone will but after a while with mlp it is learned to be connected to Equestria, but not everyone will take it like that so if it happens it happens. keep an eye out for the keywords of course

hmm, if that is the case then it is understandable why it didn't if it needs more content to fit into that than yes it can be rejected than. though I feel the message replying back on why it was rejected could use a bit more information as it can be taken the wrong why sometimes

I guess it's a matter of perception. That's the notion I got from it. Also, it's more clear in the rules when you're about to upload, so I suppose if anyone's unsure, there's that to look at.

it can be, without enough the information I tend to things the wrong way. so I find it best to ask for a little bit more on the details on why it got rejected so I can make the proper changes and feel like there needed. compared to not enough I won't know what is needed, but that is me people see the rules differently
