Wasn't expecting another blog from me so quickly, did ya? Well thanks to the Coronavirus, I've finished the first part of a 15 chapter story about Final Fantasy. Just in time for the release of 'Final Fantasy 7 Remake' AND my 7th anniversary since joining Fimfiction, it's like it was destiny!
I'm tagging this blog to 'The Legend of Zelda' crossover story for many reasons. The first being that it's similar in genre, the second is similar in execution. I'm aiming to mix the franchises of MLP and Final Fantasy much like I did with MLP and LoZ. Staying with MLP that feels like a Final Fantasy script, but with my own take on it.
The story revolves around the theme of acceptance. Tempest Shadow, Shining Armor, and Flash Sentry will each be struggling with their own personal issue over the course of the story, so it's going to be a drama. But it wouldn't be Final Fantasy without an adventure, and while I could tell you what's going to happen, I'll just say that they'll be the only ones left in Equestria that possess any magic.
I'll also state that the first chapter is about Tempest, Shining, Flash, and an OC (don't worry, he has a purpose and is not intended to be an interpretation of me in any way, shape, or form) infiltrating a castle that's controlled by someone named, 'The Ice Queen'.
Fans might find more enjoyment out of it, but everyone shouldn't have a problem following along. I've had this idea in my head for years and I've been developing since. There's going to be mysteries, there's going to be laughs, it might get dark at times, and it might have a few sad moments, but I'm sure that's it going to be enjoyed by everyone.
I'll admit, I may not know everything about the Final Fantasy franchise...
But I know more than this guy...
