IRL Update w/Grandpa Part 2: Electric Boogaloo · 6:11pm Apr 3rd, 2020

So Grandpa has gotten... a bit worse for wear. As in, too weak to walk, and with difficulty sitting up in bed. I've had to have an extended stay to keep an eye on him, as his home nurse only arrives two days of the week, and even then, stays for one hour or so due to having to deal with many elderly patients barring any time used for grocery trips. Thus: Me and Amber will be swapping on a weekly basis, taking turns watching him depending on whether or not I go to work to sign-wave (basically, advertising where I work at to passersby on the road in the hopes of keeping business afloat.)

And because I don't want to wear my laptop down anymore than I already have, I've been unable to write during my extended stay. I could try using my phone and Google Docs, but the touch screen hates my guts. That, and Grandpa has movies playing at his house on his DVD and full screen telly all the time. It would be difficult to concentrate much on anything other than swapping discs out on top of caring for him. If I tried writing for, say, 15 minutes while he's napping, I would not be able to cobble together a 500-word page within that timespan.

So I'll simply be working on stories and such whenever I can. Sorry for any inconvenience caused on my end; that is strictly my fault. :(
