Next LDFS Chapter Poll · 11:25pm Mar 11th, 2020
Hello all, I hope you are doing well. I am pleased to say that I have gotten my next chapter for Luster Dawn Friendship Successor hand written, though I want to take a poll as to what everyone thinks before I type and publish it. I have the next chapter set up to taking place a few years after Luster has enrolled in the school of magic. A little before the Last Problem, I at first thought it would be best to get to the good part which will be closer to the action. But maybe I need to take a little more time?
The next chapter I have planned will involve Twilight taking Luster's class on a field trip to the Crystal Empire where Flurry Heart's Coronation as the new ruler is about to take place. But there's one problem. The Crystal Hearts been stolen!
This will likely be a small arc in the story taking 2 to 3 chapters. Should I go ahead with it or maybe do a little more time at the school of magic beforehand? It might be a little boring to just show magic lectures and stuff though. What do you guys think?
Hmmmm... I think your idea is quite interesting, but at the same time, try not to spend too much time on the school of magic. I think it would be best if you set just a small portion of that time just to establish Luster’s character a little more that could lead the way to her trip to the Crystal Empire. Any thoughts on that?

Yeah, I was kind of working on that. I'm gonna show Luster being a real bookworm like Twilight. And she's kind of annoyed with the whole friendship thing which keeps popping up. After all, her parents work at a school of friendship, and live in a castle of friendship. She prefers to spend her time reading like Twilight did in her debut. And in the end of the trip once the heart is recovered Twilight can become aware that Luster has missed the most important lesson, setting up the stage for what we were shown in the last problem.
