Spending 3 Days With Grandpa (IRL Update) · 12:56am Mar 2nd, 2020
So you all remember that shitstorm I couldn't talk much about, where I was terrified of the absolute worst? Yeah, it's passed last week. I'll provide some details of the who and the how, but not the why.
1) Stepmom, plain and simply, fucked up. As in, managed to get herself fired and jailed fucked up. She had to post bond and get bailed out.
2) Dad told me not to worry much about the resultant court costs and shit (I believe he said this because he already had everything squared away by January-ish. That, and not really my problem to deal with, though it still has affected me in that it caused me to worry incessantly until Wednesday, where the trial happened after the lawyer gathered evidence.)
3) Stepmom got misdemeanors and probation. Which was such a huge sigh of relief for me, I cracked out a cold pina colata that night. I still don't know what she did exactly, or how she went about it, but that was the end result. She's got to get papers filed the coming Tuesday, which coincidentally...
4) Falls on the second day of me watching Grandpa Robert. Amber's been watching him this whole last month; he's had THREE surgery screenings and two surgeries, at least one of which has dealt with kidney stones so bad he couldn't walk. As of the coming Monday-Wednesday, I'll be taking over for my sister so she can catch a break. Because of this, I won't be able to do written or drawn commissions, though I will still be online to brows stories and check PMs and such. (I have 4G on my phone, take that, deadzone! :D) That said, I'll get to that once I'm done watching Grandpa Robert for those three days.
And now I am bunkering out in my bedroom, because Dad and stepmom Raven are having a drunk strip party with friends in the kitchen.

5212579 Well, to be fair, the crazier side of the family disowned the branch I'm part of for the most part. Only Mammaw and Sinnaman bother to visit, and that's because they still love me and my sister.
