I originally joined to participate in A New World, a New Way just as it was starting to die, but ended up getting into a lot of non-crossovers as well. I still think my standout fic is Silent Wings; while I had to rush the last two chapters, it helped me break a lot of new ground. My interest in My Little Pony has phased in and out over the years, and I don't use this site as much as I used to.
Michelle is an ordinary teenage Pokémon Trainer participating in a tournament that's being broadcast on live television... until something unbelievable happens to her that shakes the world.
Originally, Steenee was going to be a shy, shiny Bayleef whose buds had been ripped off by poachers. I changed her when I decided to put a Bounsweet at the end of chapter 2. I also considered putting Kris in this, but I don’t think I’ll be able to fit her in.
Originally, Steenee was going to save Starly and Bounsweet from a territorial Nuzleaf, but I didn’t want to have too many “characters fight confused wild Pokémon” scenes in this fanfic. (That being said, I watched Digimon Adventure 02’s “Digimon World Tour” three-parter last night, and the plot is that the Japanese DigiDestined go around the world to meet other DigiDestined and return wild Digimon to the Digital World. That would make a good plot for a Pokémon in Equestria fanfic, or even a Digimon in Equestria fanfic.)
Just like my previous Pokémon crossover, Moonkind: The Wayward Butterfly, all the chapters are named after Pokémon abilities. Lunchbox is an ability in Pokémon Conquest.
The Cubone and Mudkip arguing in chapter 3 are a reference to the protagonists of my other ongoing fanfic, Digital Access Network: Dimensions and Darkness. It’s an alternate universe version of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers where Digimon appear on the Grass Continent, but hopefully it should make sense if you’re not familiar with Digimon. There’ll probably be a longer gap than usual before chapter 4 of A New Body, A New Voice because I want to finally finish chapter 3 of Dimensions and Darkness.
You’ll have to excuse me, I read it as "Nazileaf"
