It's been over half a year since the last chapter of Rainbows After Rain. Don't worry — it isn't cancelled! I have the entire plot planned out, but I put it on hiatus so I could focus on my commission. Now, I'm out of the "swing" of writing it and I'm burned out on My Little Pony, so I've decided to focus my imagination on other creative projects for now. Such as comics about the apocalypse.

I submitted it to Equestria Daily and heard back from them today, so I've edited the first two chapters according to my feedback. There's nothing plot-changing, just a few added descriptions and fixed typos. Now to copy-paste these edits onto the other two sites...

I drew the original cover myself, but I thought it look inadequate, so I commissioned a new one from Little Tigress once I had the money. She previously drew the absolutely stunning cover of Silent Wings.

First of all, chapter 2 is about a third done. There'll be a sneak peak at the end!

• Moonbow Shine is a partial reference to a line from "A Kirin Tale": "'Cause rainbows won't light up the sky unless you let it rain." A moonbow is basically a rainbow at night. Kirin and hippogriffs both have similar naming conventions to ponies, which makes coming up with names for them so much easier.
