Man, how time flies. And how self-consciousness builds up when you go a long time between posting clop chapters.
It took months longer than expected, but I have just published another one of those chapters I've had lying around for ages. Thanks again to Naughty_Ranko for letting me use her OC and exposing her to Cadance's charms in a very direct and concentrated form.
Yikes. It's been three full years since I first published this story. In that time all of seasons 8 and 9 took place, giving Spike in particular a lot of character development and more interactions with his fellow dragons than he'd had when I wrote him into this story. Huh.
I have one more chapter of this story still unpublished, and I'll try to give it a readthrough and see how that stands. I'm not sure I'm gonna write anymore clop after that, it was always an odd experience for an introvert recluse like me. But it's always vexed me to have these mostly-finished things lying around unread, and I want to set them free.
As someone who routinely goes months, even years, between updates, let me tell you; those who enjoy your writing won't care. The important ones will stick around and celebrate when the next chapter appears.
