Hey! Checking in to let everyone know how things are going.
How the heck do I format this blogpost? That and more, in this month's thrilling update blog adventure extravaganza!
First off, thanks to all of the new readers and folks who've taken the time to check out Red 36. I really appreciate it. Hope you'll stick around. Got more updates on ch. 12 and more below!
Big year!
Wow, so 2019 was a big year, huh? My Little Pony officially came to a close. It was bittersweet, like saying goodbye to an old friend. A decade of Pony. I never would've thought this show would've ended up becoming such a big part of my life. I'm glad it ended when it did though, and we still have more fanfiction and G5 on the horizon to look forward to. For me, this show came at a time in my life where everything was dark and grey and suddenly there was just this blast of color and positivity that I didn't realize I needed. I will say that even though the show has ended, I fully intend to see Red 36 to the end so don't worry about me dropping it halfway through because I get bored. That's not going to happen. My fic nearly doubled in size in 2019, made a lot of great friends with some of my contemporaries, and I'm still climbing in my statistics. It's all very thrilling.

Currently, I'm working on chapter 12 which is going to be a big one and hopefully answer some of the questions that you've been hopefully asking. Lots of things happening this chapter. Fight scenes. Drama. Aggh. The goal for 2020 is to accomplish more than last year.

Holiday procrastination! (Amazing!)
I took things a bit easier over the holidays, because I really needed the rest, but I'm back at it and excited to get this chapter to you. There's going to be a surprise that I'm going to post alongside 12, and that'll hopefully make up for the extra wait time. There's also something else really big in the works that I can't really give a real ETA on (I'm pretty sure I mentioned it once in an earlier post. I'm blanking at the moment...), but it'll be huge, and I'll make a blogpost about it once it's up. Just more unknown things on the horizon to look forward to. Only a few more chapters until we wrap up this arc.

Thanks. I didn't leave necessarily, I just didn't mean to go so long without posting an update. For the record, I always have the doc open in my browser and am working on it in some respect. Fight scenes are just somewhat difficult for me to write especially when there are so many damn chekov's guns to keep track of. Something similar happened while writing chapter 6, but this time around there's a lot more I'm juggling now than I was with the Papa Bighoof fight.
Thankfully, I had already been working on that extra surprise that I plan to post alongside 12 for a while and it's mostly done, so I really don't see that slowing things down at all. Really just need to full speed ahead to the end of this arc, and take this next week to make a solid effort to finish this draft.
