"So you're a Stable-Tec fanboy?"
"No! Shut up! Our enthusiasm for Stable-Tec merchandise is completely unrelated!"
In Red 36, the Wasteland Crusaders have grown from a mere group of three ponies inspired by Littlepip's actions into a full blown faction of their own. They are mostly an unsanctioned group of do-gooders who joined together after being inspired by Littlepip and the heroic sacrifice of the original three Crusaders. They sometimes works with the other big three factions (The Followers, the AJ's Rangers, and the NCR*), taking on bounties, hunting down raiders, and helping support towns and local militias. Unfortunately, they're a bit low on funding at the moment, so their resources are limited. Most members often supply their own gear when they join (except of course for their awesome capes/scarfs that have become their trademark). They're mostly a well-intentioned group, if a bit gung ho and rowdy at times.
Given the NCR's changes in policy lately regarding hiring mercs and acting as the local law in some places, membership within the Wasteland Crusaders has mixed opinions on these moves by Gawdyna.
*=note: the Twilight Society exists as well as a major faction as well on the Wasteland Stage given the events of the original, but they are not really power projecting beyond Manehattan so they are not really relevant when talking about day to day inter-faction politics.
How's this for updates? Would you enjoy this sort of thing more than how I've been doing it up until now? I commission art all the time, so I can share a bit of background and when I have something to actually report I'll just make a proper blog post for it.
Feel free to reply and share your thoughts!
Love your artwork, El Dee. I like both of your types of updates but this is really fun to see.
So their kind of little a FOE version of the minute men, that's a good connection to both the fic and Fallot 4.

A little bit, yeah. I was trying to think of a good mechanism for potentially bringing in would-be heroes into the mix that were referenced towards the end by DJ without having to reference 50 different side-stories lol, but the comparison still works. They end up filling a lot of those roles in a non-official sense. Also it doesn't feel like Post-Pip to me if the world doesn't feel like it's moving too. Need Roulette to feel like she is just one person in the midst of all this.
