I have chosen to ask you guy's for a favor. So as you guys know I have been helping people ever since I came here and even longer in IRL. We at this point in time I have finally realized something. There's so much evil in this world. The strong exploiting the weak and the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. I have stood by and watched people die because they weren't important enough to save and it got me wondering why? Why do we get to decide whose important and not important. Why do average people who do the extraordinary things in life never get noticed for anything but yet the people who already are important for more usual reasons are noticed. I have been asking myself this question for years and years now and I came up with a good answer. It's simply because we aren't seen as extraordinary because we have come from poor beginnings. I honestly believe that everyone's life has value but none have more value than the other people. Society today though doesn't believe in that and so the majority of people are only looking out for them selves and will screw someone over if it means that they come out on top. I help people so I can show them that this doesn't have to be the case. A lot of people are grown to be selfish and inconsiderate of others and this is something that is a major problem. I help people because I see a very grim future for us if we don't change things. I want to do all that I can so people can understand that if you're nice to someone you will have someone be nice to you back but in the end I am still one person. I can not do this alone. So I urge you please commit a good deeds during the your day. Even if there minor like holding the door for someone or giving someone a tip if you go out to eat. This way people will feel good about what you did for them and they will pay it forward to the next person. I need your help because I am only one person. So please commit good deeds even if there minor ones. I am sorry for asking this of you guys.
I'm like you I love to help people when I can because it makes me happy to see people happy by doing something nice for them
Sorry for what? It’s not like it’s a burden to do nice things (in general). But all in all, thanks for the encouragement to do good. 😀
Eagle Scout, going to school to get my PhD in Medical Anthropology (the study of humans in any given space and time in relation to medicine, health care, and medical practices) and help people through that degree.
That is the exact flaw with humans, and Ill do this tomorrow because it’s almost 10:00 XD
I actually like to think that in good places the poor are doing better. (we have cakes at our food pantry that I work at, and other things of nutrition and luxury I don't even buy for myself.)
But I will say you are right in that we ought to be treating each other better. Nothing will get better until we make it better
You sir/ma'am are a kind soul, we need more people like you in this world who see the problems we as humans have and wants to make it a better place.
I sincerely hope that 1 day we as humans fix said problems and live in peace without causing pain and strife to others
We need more people in the world like you, always wanting to be kind to others and wanting everyone to be happy. It always makes me happy to see others happy so I will continue to do good deeds.
This dark world needs more absolutely amazing people like you.
