BLUF: Next chapter nearly finished. Changing out tags.
Oi vavoy! I finally managed to finish the draft for the next chapter. It is way, way, way longer than I anticipated. As of now, it's around 14,000 words long making it my second longest chapter to date. What was suppose to be a simple, easy going slice of life chapter has completely turned into something filled with much more drama. Speaking of drama, when I finally release this chapter I will also be changing out the Slice of Life tag for the drama tag as I believe that will better fit this story moving forward.
Normally, when I get to this point, it only takes me a day or two to freshen some scenes up and finally publish the chapter. I'm going to be honest here, this one may take me anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks. It's very rough around the edges and I nearly burned myself out trying to get to the end, so I want to take some extra time to go through it all. I'm looking forward to the chapter after this one. That one is expected (keyword: "expected") to have a more slice of life focus as well as introducing the return of a character we've been missing out on so far. It will be a nice break before we get back into some more gritty stuff soon after.

Looking ahead, I'm starting to have doubts about that comedy tag as well... The joys of writing an ever evolving story.
