A new career, 2 major moves, and a whole host of other small problems adding up basically had me push writing to the sidelines for a bit. Yet, I've still been around writing down ideas I gained and how to implement them. If he wishes to, a buddy of mine on this site can attest to the amount of ideas and words I've thrown his way for his opinions. As things begin to settle down, I'm starting to feel the creative juices flowing again. However, there is another story project of mine I'm throwing a lot of effort behind. I love Arctic and his antics so he's still going to continue, but damn do I sometimes wish I could re-write his whole story. I'm not going to do that, but I may reel in the complexity of all the other aspects happening in the story.

Since the rewrite is not happening, what aspect of the story would be different? Luna not being friends? The three of them sticking together rather than Arctic running off? Or maybe more focus on Arctic and his (fully functional) ship?

I would probably get Arctic to travel Equestria a fair bit more and not settle in the first city he
crashedlanded on. Luna's appearance would have been different, but probably carry a similar beat. And the Princess and her merry group of troubled makers would have come much much later (if at all). No Vinyl either. So yeah, pretty much on point with that last option of yours.I've changed my name on here several times tbh. I think my first one was Lunanut.

Also, I love the merry band of new Jack wagons... but they Vinyl part could have definitely not been there and I wouldn't have shed a single tear.
