And I know I got a handful of longer things here I should probably be chipping away at - or, in the case of at least two of them, actually just finishing - but I look at them and just go "Hurgh."
So stuff like this happens.
Eh.
I've heard some authors say that writing is writing.
Even a little bit keeps the writer going.
I don't have the literary education or lexicon to explain it exactly, but I enjoy your stories, short and unobtrusive as they sometimes are.
I suppose there's a charm to them, for lack of a better word.
Might be a matter of personal taste, but I'm certain your skill/style/"soul" as a writer plays a significant part.
Hey, I just love reading more of your style. Content is content, I'm a patient lad :D

I've come to regard most of what I churn out these days - the stuff people read, at least - as cud to be chewed over just to fill the time with pleasant, unthreatening sensations anyway, as that's what I'm looking for myself so that's what I'm turning out.
Which would be why Bedbound was a vast, lumbering, unplanned juggernaut of nonsense. And I fucking loved it.
That, and I'll giggle when I hit fifty stories on here. Hell, I'm giggling already anyway. Tee hee.
