I'm Really Bad at this Writing Stuff

At the end of October I made a calendar. On that calendar where deadlines of all the stuff I was writing.

Today was supposed to be the release of the second chapter of a brand new story. Obviously, that's not here.

I could keep saying that it's just because I do not have time. But that is not true. The truth is that I cannot stop playing games, watching TV, modding games, and simply procrastinating long enough to get the words that I need too out.

It should be easy. It was easy at one point. There was an awesome week back in August where I got so much writing done. But then I woke up late one morning and rushed to work without forcing myself to write. And just like that, suddenly the spell of being able to write was broken.

I had hoped that the deadlines would help. But they didn't. Nothing I have tried has helped. But that doesn't mean I won't stop.

I want to write. I enjoy making the stories. I'm just bad at putting them to paper and telling them to all of you.

The next story is inspired by a picture I once saw long ago now. It's not a serious story, more of a fun thing I wanted to write simply because I think it is a fun idea. The full first draft was almost completed in back in August. The first chapter is now half-way though its second draft. You will see it soon, I hope.

Then, before the year is out, I will finish the elusive 10th chapter of Fallen Canterlot. The one that I have been struggling with for over 11 months now.

I have got to get it done.
