Weird for Not Quitting · 6:54am Nov 22nd, 2019
Way back before season 3, when some friends and I first became bronies, good fanfiction was something that we all bonded over.
The idea that we had the power, through the written word, to fabricate our own stories and events using the characters we already know and love was truly awe-inspiring to us (not to mention the fact that we could share these stories online without fear of copyright lawsuits)!
But as the years went on, my friends slowly lost interest in fanfiction, some losing interest in the show entirely...
To be honest, that was a big reason why I stopped writing my story, because I no longer had someone in-person to converse with about my latest chapter and what they thought of it!
I write this blog post because I wanted to get this off my chest: it feels weird, initially, to still be writing fanfiction even after most (if not all) of my high-school buddies have moved on.
But I realize now something I should have realized back then.
I have you ponies to converse with! So even when it feels strange to keep trying to finish this thing, I'll still have you guys to make it feel alright.
For that, I thank you all.
As always, thank you for reading! If you have any questions or comments, feel free to leave them below (let's keep the conversation rolling!)...
Well glad your still here then
