Good morning, afternoon, or evening fillies and gentlecolts! I just wanted to give you all a quick update.

The title of this blog post says it all: the next chapter is in progress like normal, but I realize now it may be a little longer than our usual 3000-ish word-count. It could be closer to 5000 to even 6000 words, what with me reaching 3000+ without even having included the next part of Greyblade's story!

Way back before season 3, when some friends and I first became bronies, good fanfiction was something that we all bonded over.

The idea that we had the power, through the written word, to fabricate our own stories and events using the characters we already know and love was truly awe-inspiring to us (not to mention the fact that we could share these stories online without fear of copyright lawsuits)!

I thought I'd start sharing some short blog posts on the regular and see where this takes us.

I wanted to start this one by saying how, despite the irregular posting of chapters in the past, ever since I started "The Protectors of Harmony" back in 2012 on fanfiction.net, not a day has gone by where I haven't thought about this story. That's a fact.
