Older fanfic?

So I was looking through my files and found an older pony fanfiction I wrote not long after I became a brony. I think the hugest wave of nostalgia ever just hit me, and now I'm contemplating posting what I'd done just for the hay of it.

Uh, quick synopsis, or summary or whatever it's called (And yes, this is copy/pasted from the actual summary I wrote back then): After a visit to Canterlot, Twilight Sparkle arrives home to find she has the armor of Nightmare Moon in her saddlebags. In the weeks following, she is plagued by whispers, as well as nightmarish dreams and visions. Will she succumb to the dark entity, or will she be able to will the Nightmare away?

Meh, make it a book/scroll and it would make a hell of a lot more sense for her to have not noticed in her bags. Metal armor fitted for an Alicorn is going to be big and heavy.

Hmmm, that could work, but it said armor, so I was thinking helmet, chest piece and hoof boot things.
I'd still make it a single tan scroll with a black wax seal in the shape of a crescent moon, but it's your story.

If you remember Voldemort's Horcrux in the diary, I was thinking of something like that. REPLACE the armor/necklace/whatever with the scroll. It would be less of a plot hole for Twilight to miss that as it would weigh less and blend in to the rest of her stuff. Then the scroll can be enchanted to tempting Twilight into breaking the seal and opening it, releasing the evil. Plus, as a scroll, it would be much more tempting for Twilight than an amulet. The black wax seal with a crescent moon pressed into it is just for evil flair.
