A slight change of plans · 11:00pm Nov 4th, 2019
Now that I've finished writing the latest main story of my LEGO Equestria Girls series, as well as watched what is supposedly the last official Equestria Girls content ever, it's time for me to share my likely finalized plans for the rest of my fanfiction series.
First of all, despite a little difficulty, I was able to finish the seventh story on schedule, and apparently did good enough that readers seem to agree it was much better than the official version of Rollercoaster of Friendship. I normally start writing my stories about a month before I plan to start posting them, so that if anything happens that slows down my progress, I can still manage to stay on my self-imposed schedule of posting a new chapter once every two weeks. This seventh story definitely ended up cutting it closer than ever with only days to spare, though I suppose all the attention surrounding the series finale of FiM may be to blame for using up much of my available time in this case (not that it's a bad thing, as I really did love watching that final episode).
Anyway, as I'm sure you're aware by now, my immediate plans for LEGO Equestria Girls involve the two-part short story that I hope to have completed next month, followed by the eighth story based on Spring Breakdown early next year, and then the ninth story based on Sunset's Backstage Pass shortly after that. Now here's where my new plans are different from what I outlined in my previous blog post; because it turns out the holiday special is actually a group of shorts rather than a single long event, what I'll write after the ninth story will not be an additional main story but rather a group of short stories to take place between the ninth and tenth stories (much like with other groups of short stories I've written before, though the possibility of these short stories being longer means I may have to consider posting them at the same rate as with chapters for the main stories). These short stories will obviously be holiday themed, and while I'll be able to adapt some of the official ones into my own Lego versions, I can't say the same for a few others, so I'll instead come up with a few completely original ones on my own (including the one-shot story integrating the events of the Lego Movie 2 that I had originally planned to fit in this point of the timeline, which I'll now adapt to fit the holiday theme).
Of course, this implies that I'm now intending to write three major stories in the span of a single year. I can't speed up my writing process, so I have to stick to my usual schedule of one new chapter every two weeks. Instead, based on my calculations, I think I can pull it off if all three of these stories have no more than six chapters each (not counting the prologue or epilogue), which I think can be reasonable when you consider the specials they're based on are divided into six segments (though where I'll place the dividing points between each part could still vary considerably, if the sixth and seventh stories are anything to go by). Therefore, next year, you can expect to see the start of the eighth story in February, the start of the ninth story in June, and the start of the holiday short stories in October. I know it sure seems like a lot of work for such a short time span, but after how successfully I was able to pull off the seventh story (especially considering the content of it), I'm actually feeling pretty good about my chances.
After cramming all of that into 2020, my plans for the rest of the series remain mostly unchanged. 2021 will start off with the first of a series of side stories that will be ongoing alongside all the remaining main stories, mostly about various minor characters and what they happen to be doing during the events of those last three main stories. In addition to that will obviously be the tenth main story, featuring the Lego World's Changelings, the return of Starlight Glimmer, and certain aspects of the Lego World I've been wanting to feature for quite a while. 2022, in addition to further additions to those side stories, will have the eleventh main story, featuring the introduction of the Young Six from the pony world and the Lego World's version of Tempest Shadow and the Storm Forces. 2023, in addition to the remaining additions to those side stories, will have the twelfth and final main story, featuring a mega crossover of many of the major licensed Lego themes (I'm still working out the timeline of events for that final main story, so it's possible work on that one could end up extending into 2024). Further details on all of these stories were already explained in the previous blog post, so I won't bother going over all of them again.
Even after all of that, there is one final addition I've decided to make to my plans for this series. Inspired by the final episode of MLP:FiM, I've decided that after completing the twelfth and final major story, I'll follow that up with a two-in-one short story: the Prologue (summarizing the events of Sunset Shimmer's life prior to stealing Princess Twilight's crown at the start of the first story) and the Epilogue (featuring a brief meeting between Sunset Shimmer and Princess Twilight many years after the events of the final story). Once that pair of short stories is completed, I will be officially finished with my LEGO Equestria Girls fanfiction series.
That should cover just about all the important things I can think of at this time. I hope everyone will be looking forward to everything I've got planned out for the remainder of this series. But for now, it's time for me to get started on the two-part short story for next month, and then it'll be on to LEGO Equestria Girls 8 at the start of next year.
Wow that's a lot of plans, and then there's me reading a fifth story, hope I'll manage to catch up before February
Well damn I like where this is going. Shame EG is ending I thought its plot could actually go somewhere cool. But it seems like your doing that for us anyway. Awesome.

It's not exactly ending. It's just stopped production by DHX/Wildbrain
Boulder Media could pick it up, but we don't know yet. I hope so though
