Rain rain... · 10:25am Oct 25th, 2019
Things have been...Tricky as of late. A bit prickly, you see. I've not been to work in a solid week, and I'm not to be paid for that week. Tis been raining, you see, and there's been quite a bit of flooding of late. This means there's no work to be done, as our shipments have been waylaid by the elements. This, in turn, means there's no need for us to visit the shop and thusly, I've had time off.
While nice as that is, not being paid is turning out to be a problem. I have been trying to keep it together, but rent is looming on the horizon and it's making me exceedingly nervous in not being able to pay it. Or, you know, eat. Or get medication. Or any of those lovely things money is helpful for. Fortunately, dear brother Golden (don't forget, he's a 'G' my darlings) swooped in, again, to help me out of financial straits he didn't know I was in, so do go show him all the love he deserves. A truly wonderful sort, he is.
Tis why I've been so distant as of late. Whilst I would like to write more comedy, Research and Development and Roll for Infinitive, tis a bit on the difficult side when panic is overriding humor. Still, though, I've managed to procure enough to make rent, so soonish, we should be back on track, at least, one can hope. I might even have a new chapter done by tomorrow. We'll see! In other news, they've released the new 'City of Titans" avatar creator, which I've been wanting to try for quite some time! It's going to be fifty bits to get it, but as soon as I get my next...next paycheck, I shall be most assuredly going to grab it. I want to design...well...I suppose Mixtape, and possibly Diamond Dancer. I doubt they'll have a hoody or something for her to wear, since in her 'anthro' form, that's what she dons. She covers up her face because of the numerous blotches and splotches on her body, but I'm sure I can find something neat for her to wear. As for Mixie, well, she'll simply wear something punkish, and grungy. I love designing characters in games like that!!
I've noticed folks are still faving 'All our times have come' which tickles me to no end. Tis a short, but I wonder if it's long enough for me too submit to EQD. I've always wanted to end up on that site in some way or form. They plastered my 'Perfect' story up under the top 50 stories to read about Derpy, at one point, and while wonderful as that is (It really, really is) I wonder if I can't get myself up there on my own. I'm exceedingly proud of that story, and if I could only manage to garner at least some 250 more upvotes, I'll have finally, finally manages to get a story with at least 1000 likes. Wouldn't that be something! A lovely little boost to my self-esteem, one would think. I wonder if I can't one day replicate that success? Perhaps. The only way to truly know is to keep writing, of course. Should any pony know if it's possible to get a hold of Scribbler? I should like to pay her to do an audio reading of it, should she be inclined to do so. I'm sure that would help boost the votes on it. Maybe not 200 likes, worth, but it would certainly help. I don't know that she takes commissions, though. Busy thing that she is.
Keep as well as you can, soul sis.

Take care, Lady Rarity and just keep writing your amazing stories! Sunny days are coming your way!
Be well :)
