My Thoughts on Easy Access

I honestly was just expecting a quick 5 chapter story about a human turned pony in Equestria but boy did my plans change over time. I never had faith in the story and mainly started it to get back into the 'groove' of writing so I could continue with my other more important story. However things ended up flipping around for these stories, CWYD is now on the back burner until I figure out what I'm aiming for story wise. They were supposed to cross over to give Terran another human to talk to and be friends with but since there was such a timeline difference I needed to progress Graphite's story by many years before Terran even arrived in Equestria. My plan for Easy Access was to skip years ahead after he found his place in the society only for it to end up with him living in Ponyville where he meets Terran. What I didn't expect was I felt more attached to Graphite's story with every paragraph. It eventually got to the point where I had entire story arcs being created in my mind for how his story could go, each arc becoming longer than the last. Now I can't not tell his story and I refuse to stop this story until it is completed. Do I know the exact path I'm taking with this story? Hell no but I do have allot of major plot points I want to hit before the end of this story. Is Easy Access a self insert? It both is and isn't. It is in the sense of a shared name and some similar outlooks but I'm nothing like him in terms of attitude. Now to address small issue of mine that I only just realized with the posting of my last chapter. I know there's allot of people who hate when an oc turns into a alicorn especially when they used to be human, and I never planned the thing with the wings it was just a spur of the moment thing and does not mean he is now an alicorn. I repeat Graphite Quill is NOT an alicorn now! He's just a unicorn that used magic to physically grow wings, he did NOT ascend and I do not plan for him to ever be a real alicorn. I'm a seat of the pants writer meaning I don't plan the specifics so nothing is really set in stone and I'm just creating the story as I go when in between major plot points. Anyways I have to get going now, i just wanted to take some time to explain my thoughts on my stories and how they're progressing. Oh, I know that feel. The Godspyre started out as just the backstory of one of my other characters, then blew up to the point that Area Negative Zero has basically been reduced to cameos in it.
