My next Legend of Sunset Shimmer adventure... a real Awakening? · 10:51pm Oct 14th, 2019
I've been thinking about this for the past several days and have come to a decision.
Originally, I was going to have the third story be adapted from Twilight Princess, but that would be quite the massive undertaking given how long that game is. If I were to tackle it, it would need to be with someone else or more. It will eventually come to light but not for the time being. My next idea involved adapting the original Legend of Zelda, but I found that this has its own set of problems: a lack of characters, a dull overworld, and well, a dull underworld.
So that idea is out. Then it hit me.
How about... Link's Awakening?
Yeah, I know, the recent Switch version kind of is a dead giveaway.
Sure, it's not as long or filled with as many characters as Twilight Princess, but it would make things easier for me. Besides, I haven't written anything in well over a year so I need to start off small.
My answer:
Yes.
I'm down for it.
Awesome!
Glad you guys are in favour of this. I'll probably start writing this next month but I won't upload a chapter a week like I used to. That got really stressful after a while and left me feeling cramped, tired, and having to remember so much.
I will post who will be playing which character... there will also be a few characters who aren't in the game because I need someone to interact with Sunset constantly.
i would like to see that happen and i agree with you twilight princess is pretty long so yeah links awakening would work since its not as long but it is pretty design wise and game wise

While it may not be as morbid as Majora's Mask or epic as Ocarina of Time, Link's Awakening does handle both jobs quite well in its own little way.
I'm also going to make a list of who will be portraying who instead of making it up as I go along barring obvious exceptions. I want to plan this one out for once.
