I'm back! (Chapter 90 of Long Haul is out! +The rest of Silver Nocturne is out!)

Hey there everyone! It's finally the 4th, and my vacation is officially over. So of course, I've got a new chapter of Long Haul already up and ready to be read by the masses! On top of that, the fantastic voice of Forrest M has now graced every chapter of Silver Nocturne! So if you're looking for an audiobook and haven't checked it out, I'd suggest giving it a shot! But, with those two things out of the way, on to the rest of the blog post!

Now, as per most of my vacations, impromptu or planned, it's never as non-productive as I always lay them out to be at the start. In this case, over the last month I have taken quite a break, but I've still managed to get some work done on Long Haul. For those following along, Night and friends will soon be within reach of the greater Vanhoover area, and so we'll be seeing some familiar faces start to pop up if you've at all read TheFurryRailFan's Fo:E - Empty Quiver. A great story if you haven't given it a shot, and somewhere I'd been planning on getting to with this story for years now.

While it's increadibly exciting for me to have finally reached that point, it paints a picture for Long Haul that to me, says that I'm basically within striking distance of the end. Don't get me wrong, there's still a lot of story left to be had, but for the first time in nearly four years, I feel like Long Haul is closer than ever to wrapping up. I bring this up because, well, whenever that's happened in the past, my mind's always begun to wander a bit. Not in a bad way, but it's at this time I always have tended to get my ideas for my next story.

"But Gamma, you said you weren't doing another story!" I can already hear you cry.

And while it's true I'm not going to be doing any more long-form stories, that doesn't mean I'm going to stop writing. No, this next story I've been formulating and working on is only going to be perhaps ten chapters long or so, and nothing to the word-count of Merchants of Hope or Long Haul. On top of that, while I've got ideas for this story, it still get's backburner priority over my work on Long Haul. I will say this though, if I do somehow manage to finish writing it before Long Haul is officially over, I will release it in its entirety on here with a special blog post. But that's both improbable, and nowhere to be seen in the near future regardless of how productive I am on it. Still, I felt it warranted me touching on it to let you all know to look out for it in the future!

But for now, that's pretty much it! I hope you all enjoy the new chapter of Long Haul, and I hope it wasn't too painful to wait a month for. Of course, I'll be right back here in two weeks time with yet another chapter for you all, and another blog post with some news.
