Adda+: Future Projects and Commission Status · 3:24am Sep 29th, 2019
I haven't had a reason to hop onto Fimfiction for the longest time. Most of my time at the keyboard is spent on a project that has very little to do with horses, a long-running original fiction that is equal parts theological discourse and medieval French fantasy novel. Lately, though, I've picked up some new projects and I hope to pick up some more. Yes, I'm writing again... though perhaps not the same way I was before.
I've had a couple of offers come my way for commissions—some of which are not the sort of thing I'm known for writing. Surprise! Getting into commissions has never been that big a priority for me, but nowadays I'm grateful for the opportunity. When it comes to adult stories, I believe that they are a perfectly normal interest and I don't much care about the taboo that can involve; I just haven't had the motivation to write them myself. On the other hand, a good number of my readers are those with little interest in, or even an aversion to, such stories. I feel that I should respect my readers enough to... I dunno... keep hot stories hot and cold stories cold, haha. With that in mind, I'll likely take a leaf from so many other Fimfiction authors' books and start a second account for those.
If you're interested in commissions, my timetable is looking pretty clear soon. I'd collected a few prompts, but for the moment I'm back down to one commission. It's a five-chapter story that is to be released in two parts within a week's time. You probably won't see it on this profile; it leans into some areas that are understandably controversial to some readers, so I'll leave it for those who want to see it. After that commission, though, it's fair game! I know I said this a lot back when I was writing for more than just my own emotional needs (what, 2016?), but I meant it every time and I mean it now. Thanks for reading, everyone. After all, what is an author without an audience? I'm forever grateful for the last five years of your kindness, and grateful for what comes next, whatever that may be. I'll see some of you then.
