Ever relate hard to an unpopular episode? · 4:40am Sep 24th, 2019
For me Yakity-Sax is one of those. I can understand people thinking it's character assassination to portray her in such an extreme manner, as Pinkie's easily my second favorite cast member, but I found the situation very relatable.
I've certainly been there, discovering a new obsession, trying hard at it, and still turning out poor results, leaving you broken and depressed for a time. It reminded me a bit of that Simpsons episode, Bart Gets An F; no matter how much you try, sometimes stuff just doesn't work out.
I do wish they'd justified why it's so important to Pinkie, though; perhaps they should've made it clear she wants to be closer than ever to the Yaks, using the instrument to try and become even closer to them?
Anyhow, thoughts on the episode or a similar one that hit you hard personally?

For me, it's "2, 4, 6, Greaaat".
In that episode, I heavily relate to Dash in not really being interested in something she has little to no knowledge of, yet being forced into that role anyway.
I took a course in college that's all about diplomacy and international relations. I did good in some subjects and average in some, but I honestly don't see myself working for politics because of how absolutely corrupt the government is in my country.
