I don't want to do this anymore.

I just feel like no one cares anymore I put the effort in my stories and the most that happens is that they get up in favorites and collect dust.

I just want to know if at least one person reads my stories.

I do and have been enjoying it. Have had nothing to say as have been watching it unfold and am waiting for the story itself to answer my questions.

It can often feel like no one is reading your work, trust me I feel the same about my own writing, but the views do trickle in over time. As many stay silent and don't leave a comment, it can be hard to understand what draws them in. All you can truly do is hope they found something in your work which resonated with them to keep them interested.

Just know that there are those who are still following your work and the work of others, wanting to see you and everyone reach whatever goal you are after in your writing simply because everyone who posts a story anywhere has taken the difficult step of putting their work out to the often silent, sometimes harsh, scrutiny of others.

Whatever you make is always worth the sacrifice of time and effort even, whether it be fanfiction or purely original work (been on both sides for a long time), if it is as small as improving your writing style or characterisation.
