Chapter 10 Progress, (Lore Terms & Changelog 9/19)

I've gone back and cleaned up a few things in the early chapters to better clarify some of the terminology. Nothing major, but I realized that early on I used a few of the terms interchangeably, which likely led to confusion with some early readers of the story.

The Coalition- now refers specifically to the Stable Dweller's Coalition when she fought during the ending of the original on TDoS&R.
The Alliance- is New Canterlot's, AJ's Rangers', The Followers', and the Twilight Society's tentative alliance Post-Littlepip as they're all scrambling around trying to figure out how to government.
New Canterlot or New Canterlot Army- for everything else related to the peace keeping force/ law and order in the territory centered around New Canterlot, though the mercs function in an army-like fashion and some already have plenty of military experience, they're not exactly a fully trained military fighting force quite yet. New Canterlot Army most often is referring to the army currently being trained to take over. (Later NCR)

A lot of these mistakes were made without consulting an editor really and things earlier on was really difficult. Hopefully it'll be less confusing now that there are only three real specific terms that readers have to keep track of and I'll make far less of these mistakes in the future. I also changed some of the same terms in other earlier chapters to better reflect that. Should mention again, that nothing in the overall story has changed. Only the smaller details.

Changelog (9/21/19):
-Ch. 1, I removed a lot of the repetitive lines where Roulette is just repeating "That day" over and over again and similar backstory elements. There were lines in there I felt that really weren't necessary to get the point across and just served to make the chapter drag on for the reader. I think the message gets across fine without having to hammer the reader over the head with it, it's just more subtle now.
-Changed a couple of paragraphs around to better reflect her backstory and where she's been up until now before the beginning of the story. There were a couple of throwaway lines that contradicted her motivations that I didn't realize I put in there until now. (That's the problem with self-editing kids!)
-Added small description for Mags' appearance in ch. 1.
-Moved awkwardly placed exposition about Dodge City's power structure to when she first arrives in ch. 8, rather than when she's just meeting with the mayor. Slight changes in word count reflect this.

-Various spelling errors and grammar mistakes that were overlooked in ch's 2, 4, 5, 6, and 8.
-Slight change so that the standoff on the hill is interrupted by a stray shot instead of Hawkins just deciding to leave Sunny for dead. Sting can make things difficult anyways with his selective phase spell, so imo that's enough to justify that spur-of-the-moment decision by Hawkins.

Chapter 10 is almost done! Working with my new editor, Shady, on it currently. Got a few pre-reader volunteers as well. Said folks will be credited in the next chapter. All that's left is doing a couple more passes, then pre-reading after that, then post. That's also in part the reason for all the sudden changes. Things that I missed being pointed out to me by fresh eyes, since I mostly did 8 and 9 on my own. We're actually getting pretty close to wrapping up this arc too. It's all very exciting for me! We're even nearing 2000 unique views, which honestly I think is pretty great for this late in the pony fandom. Thank you everyone for reading or checking it out! There are a couple big things on the way, but I won't say what they are. Maybe a couple people I've spoken with know. Should be a good surprise when it's finally out.
