The Pictures— Holy F*** · 9:44pm Sep 9th, 2019
So apparently the image hosting site I've been using for a while, tinypic, has shut down. That means that practically all of the pictures I have up anywhere (except for the few that were up before I started using them) are defunct. I need to go through all of my stories, re-upload the pictures to another host site (Imgur seems to be working just fine), and put them back in to every chapter of every story that have images embedded and all the images that I have on my profile page that I had hosted on tinypic.
That's gonna take a while. I'll probably do the ones in the stories first.
Good lord.
Edit (about 12 hours later):
Okay, I think I got everything. It's all in Imgur. All the various page breaks (those took forever), story art, profile page art... It's taken me a few hours and it's now about 4:30am.
I really need to get my priorities straight...
Man, that stinks! Wonder why they didn't give you any notice? At least you have the pictures in other places, though but that is still a lot of work! Good luck!
Oh, yikes; sorry about that. Good luck.
I had them, too, but I only had a few pics there that I used on my main page here, so it was easy to find another host for them.
I use imgBB myself.
I did use Photobucket, but after that stunt they pulled awhile back wanting people to pay $399.99 a year for third-party hosting, I started looking for a new host for my pics.
I think whover owns Photobucket bought tinypic, because when I checked my own (now similarly defunct) tinypic account, there was a notification/invitation to "move your images to Photobucket".
When Hell freezes over, maybe.
That's my take on it, just so y'all know.

Apparently there was an advanced notice, but I don't go onto the actual site frequently enough to have seen it.

Yeah, I used to use photobucket also, then I did what you did and swapped to tinypic. Now I have to do it again.

My sympathies.
Ctrl+H and the "Replace All" command should help. As long as the file names are the same, you just need to change the rest of the link. Although, did tinypic use shortened urls? Sucks either way.

I would have thought they might send an e mail note as well. Too much work for them, I guess. Hope you are able to find a better sight to store the images on.
