Virus Alert

My Laptop has contracted a Browser redirect Virus, what this means is that anytime I change screens on Fim (go from story to story, chapter to chapter, Home page to the setting, anything) It opens a new tab and sends me to it, it's rather irritating.

Grab MBAM free and you can ignore the premium trial part it can be turned off to free later but run malwarebytes and it will clean that right up.
EDIT: also what browser are you using and is it with all of yours?

I'm using chrome it's only doing this on fim so far and I tried using the THing you sent me a link to and after cleaning my laptop the problem still remains (thank you for trying tho)

And it's just on fimfic? Go to fimfic in normal chrome, make sure you know your user and pass then click the lock to the left of the url and erase the site stuff for fimfic cookies ect. Then close Chrome and reopen it. Are you using any like greesemonkey scripts on the site? You sound like you have a dns redirect for just that site.
