Good morning from my Writing Lair! This is Shadow-8472, and today, I am changing the format of release for A Tale of Two Worlds. Let's get started!
When I first started work on my story, publishing any part of it was only a dream. The role play it's based on was over, and we had even started on a sequel. Before I knew it, a full year and more passed without much work toward story writing.
Maybe it was the series ending that sparked me to publish, or maybe it was a whim. But I finished up the first chapter and published. I wanted to keep to a weekly schedule without resorting to tiny chapters, but I also want to tell the best story I can.
It is clear now that I cannot keep up with both my original goals. However, I have a compromise. From now on, I am going to have supersections of chapters. Parts, acts, arcs, what have you. When one chapter arc is done, it will be released on a weekly schedule. In-between, the story will go on hiatus.
Final Question: What do you think about this plan? Is it the better of both worlds, or a bad idea?
