Good Morning from my Writing Lair! This is Shadow_8472, and this month, I've stepped back from weekly posts here. Let's get started!
As I said before, maintaining both a robotics blog and a writing blog is just a little too much for me long-term. I still want to do a little writing, so here I am, now on a monthly basis.
I started another story as a gift for a fellow server member on a Christian Bronies Discord server. Pinkie was putting on the event, so I asked her to do some research and she came up that he liked Star Trek. Myself a Star Trek fan, I decided a crossover might be fun to write. It's going slow, and not even steady, but I have what I think will serve as a nice prologue going, and a rough idea of major story events.
The prologue/first chapter --it will be pretty fluid for a while-- alternates between Voyager and the Mane 6. Following the advice of my sister, I am planning on telling the story from both sides while giving each side their respective storytelling spin. Honestly, I don't know if this will ever get properly published, as I can see this needing several revisions before it's ready. Writing has been slow, and my blog here needs to reflect that.
Final Question: I have no idea when I should post blogs. Early in the month? Late in the month? Day of the week? What would fit in with everyone's schedules?
