After introducing Alexandria Luskov, I always said she was raised by wolves, now we get a good look at momma wolf Cynthia Luskov.

Story

Cynthia Luskov, a thirty year old wolf and a officer who works in SWAT. She was always very good at her job, being more a detective than actual SWAT with how she handled her job. She was always a lone wolf in her earlier years, but SWAT taught her to be part of a team. After a few years she became an integral part of a very diverse team. She quickly integrated with her SWAT pack and together they busted more drug factories, weapons shops, and illegal prostitute/slave rings than any team in the history of their city. Ass time went on Cynthia fell in love with a accountant, Perry Henderson, a fellow wolf male who was around the same age as her. When they were younger they fell madly in love, married, and started a family of 3. Two daughters and a son. The eldest daughter was 16 Melody Luskov, the son and middle child Timmy Henderson at age 10, and their youngest daughter Alex Henderson age 9.

Cynthia was a very proud wolf, but nothing made her more proud than her husband and children whom she loved more than anything in the world. Often we paint this perfect picture of what our future is, and then reality comes in to wash those delusions away leaving only the harsh cruelly of the world in its wake. Cynthia was about to get a whole lot of that in one go.

Story

After 16 years of marriage Cynthia was going through a rough patch.

One of her teammates died due to a critical error she made during a raid on a drug dealers storehouse. The night before they got an anonymous tip about a potential drug factory on the bay. It was suppose to be a simple operation. There were only five people guarding the place at any given time. A simple go in, capture or eliminate any threats and assess the evidence. By this point she was the team leader and her arrogance and string of successes lead her to be over confident as well as her team. They had never failed before and thought themselves invincible.

When the time came for the operation to start everything fell through. The cocky team didn't wait for backup, there was a massive firefight. Two were injured including Cynthia, and her close friend Tom was killed saving her life. By the time backup arrived they had been baked into a corner and were on the verge of defeat when the rest of their forces arrived to save their butts. Cynthia was hospitalized for the tenth time that year alone and her husband was beginning to get on edge with her profession.

For well over two years he'd asked her to reassign to a safer job on the force. She refused time and time again. This time however it was far worse. She lost a teammate, two more injured, her own injuries were severe enough she was forced to take medical leave after she got reprimanded by the sheriff of her department shortly after she was released from the hospital.

With the death of her teammate fresh in her mind, and her future career uncertain she wasn't mentally prepared for what was to come. After all the injuries and fights she had with her husband, her marriage was failing and Perry gave her an ultimatum she could either transfer out of SWAT or he was taking the kids and leaving her. She became enraged with him saying he was being unfair, selfish, and a plain jerk for giving her such a ridiculous request. However Perry stood his ground saying, "I will not have my kids become motherless because she got herself killed."

Livid and driven by anger she lashed out at Perry. It was a short altercation but one that left their son injured. It was nothing serious but it left a bad taste in everyone's mouths. In the end they went to court, she lost custody due to her high risk job, and Perry left with the kids to live with his parents. Cynthia kept working part time as security to fill her time while she was waiting to be put back on active duty. she began drinking and smoking like the night would be her last. Then about four years after Perry left something happened that would change her again in a very dramatic way.

Finally got tothe meat of it all! Cynthia meets Alexandria, though unnamed at the time. ^^ hope you all enjoy the little storytime pics!

Story

One stormy night after a long night shift at the docks for her security job, Cynthia dragged her tired self home through a heavy rainstorm. The moon was covered by clouds and only the light from the street lamps gave Cynthia any guidance as she trudge through the heavy rain and lightning back home. Depressed and alone she just wanted to get home and have a drink and crash on the bed to get some precious time to herself before starting her daily process all over again.

On this particular night she was out of cigarettes and made a stop by a local store to get some. After which she continued her long trek home. When she arrived home she was already very tired from work, the rain, and mental fatigue. As she fumbled for her keys she quickly opened her door and walked in like a zombie that had just risen from the grave. Haphazardly she discarded her clothes and showered the day away. Warm water always made her day better, especially after a cold rainy night. After a quick dry off she went to get her comfy shorts and an old beat up tank top, before grabbing a beer and chugging it. Crashing on the bed she held the beer over the side taking care not to drop or spill with four years of experience guiding her hand.

Between her tired state, the alcohol, and the storm she barely registered the sound of someone banging on her door. At first she ignored it thinking, who would be out in a storm like this? Then the banging became louder and more frequent. After this she got annoyed, placed her beer down, and got up just as the sound of someone bashing at her door registered in her brain. Her first thought was a burglar.

Quickly she retrieved her pistol and rushed to her living room barricading her door with her couch. Double checking to make sure her door was locked she braced her weapon ready to fire when the person outside abruptly stopped. She hesitated for a few seconds, before moving closer to the window. Her blinds were drawn and with one hand gripping her sidearm she used her free hand to peek out. No one was there. Curiosity got the better of her and she removed her couch from barricading her door and unlocked it, despite her mind telling her it was a bad idea. Yet, she felt oddly compelled to do so, as if she were possessed to do so.

Opening the door she pointed out with her pistol scanning the area quickly for any potential threats. Seeing no one was there and her heart still racing she wiped a bit of sweat form her forehead stepping out on her porch when she felt her foot kick something. Startled she aimed down to find a small basket with a with cloth stained in blood. Lightning flashed and for a brief second she saw a blood trail lead from the street to her home, the basket and then back out into the street again.

Taking a minute to process what was happening she heard a baby cry from under her feet. Unraveling the bundle in the basket revealed a baby sharkgirl wrapped in a onesies. Her heart melted at the sight of the chubby little thing smiling back at her with wide emerald eyes. She quickly set her weapon aside and carefully picked up the baby girl in her arms. In an instant her maternal instincts kicked in and she held the child close to keep her warm as she gathered the basket and her gun and retreated back inside her home from the cold.

Discarding the basket with her pistol in it Cynthia went to her misplaced couch and sat down making sure not to drop the precious shark in her arms. It had been so long since she held a child in her arms yet everything she did felt natural, compelling her to dry the child, bundle her and groom her.

It wasn't hers, yet the drive was there to nurse the child. She knew shed have to file a missing persons report tomorrow, but deep down she secretly hoped no one would come for the child. After all she was left on Cynthia's doorstep, that meant the child was for all .intense and purposes abondoned.... right?

Tired from the long day she yawned, and the little shark girl yawned too making Cynthia smile. Gently she nuzzled the baby causing her to giggle and kiss Cynthia's nose back wagging her finned tail happily. Cynthia's heart raced at the precious baby girl and eventually she fell asleep with the child laying atop her chest snuggled protectively in her arms until morning.
