That was quite a disappearance wasn’t it?
I’ve been going through a bit of a rough patch recently, and by recently I mean as far back as November. I just posted Moaning Top Incident, which was supposed to be for NaNoWriMo, until I broke my foot halfway through the month and was practically feverish with pain for a week. If the break wasn’t bad enough, while hobbling about trying to fix a meal, I knocked over a bottle of Mang Tomas which shattered on the broken foot and embedded a few glass shards into the toes. I put it aside when it was clear that I wouldn’t make it. Then, it was Christmas break, then a horrible water shortage, a blistering summer, asthma worsened by renovations to the house, extended family troubles, a lot of things.
Things are improving slightly enough for me to finish my failed NaNoWriMo thing. I’ll try to get to Journeys as best I can.
Hope things keep getting better for you. This all sounds like a really long bad luck streak.

Hope things start going better for you, man. I've long since fallen behind on the Upheaval universe (need to go back and re-read it someday when I have the time), but it's good seeing you around and still posting stuff. I have missed your occasional rants and reviews.

Wow, that's one of the worst series of unfortunate events that I've heard of happening to some one. Hopefully the rest of the year ends with good luck in proportion to the amount of bad luck.
