seasoned/marinated grilled chicken breast, sliced up into strips (I recommend southwestern style seasoning for a lil heat)
well, yet another mishap occurs. sadly, it's my faithful old comp that's taken the brunt. poor thing will no longer boot up.
luckily, my brother ordered himself a laptop, so he's turned over his old desktop to me.
so, it's just a matter of getting back into the swing of things.
Through the whole middle of last week, my internet and phone were out 'cause jackass decided to take a section of phone line right off the pole....i sh

Well that's always an upside. Better than losing a majority of your stories.. and besides, you've managed well enough from scratch, even if it took time, ups and downs, you always managed. I know you're skilled enough to scrap through it. I'm rooting for ya all the way.
I know how it feels for one's computer to randomly decide to screw you over.
Almost a week ago my laptop decided to go "Bad startup config info" and won't let me get on, so I was forced to do a factory reset on it.
Even though I didn't freaking do anything wrong to it.
And then Google Chrome decided to not let me use it anymore(a few days later after the factory reset) even though I didn't do anything to it either, so I am stuck with Microsoft Edge(and can't update for some reason).

My one laptop lasted for a couple of years and I fear this one is might only last at the 3rd year mark or so.

Thats the problem with computers. At most they're good for about 3 to 6 years, depending. For example the laptop I'm using is over 6 years old and it's starting to show its age. There are certain programs that either won't work anymore or are slow. I can't even play most games on it anymore.

I think mine is starting to act up in terms of wireless internet stuff.
Its going out a lot for some reason and I had to restart it in order to get it working again.
