To be fair, there were nice galleries, but come on... they had to see this coming, I warned a number of them last year to get out while they could. A few did take the advice. They're laughing with me now.

Oh, he did have them ... he just chose to be selective about them. Otherwise, he would have saved all that delicious money from the charities he participated and invested them in such wonderful business investments as sweatshops, conflict African mines, and Apple.
Alternatively, he was bonding with future clients/customers with 'certain inclinations' for his 'little attractions' while he made his donations to appear to be trustworthy and morally good.
But I digress - many 'saintly people' and 'good people' are more often than not morally self-righteous and want you to live by their words, yet the moment you dig in a bit and you find all sorts of filth that make said people 'morally bankrupt hypocrites'. I would trust more an 'ethical person' who lives by his word but is not religious than a 'moral person' who wants others to live by his words and beliefs yet doesn't live them himself.
Unfortunately, ethics are philosophical in nature and thus much harder to understand than the simple moral 'Do not enslave others'. There is no explanation why besides 'it is unlawful, it is bad, it makes you a bad person in accordance to our current ruleset'.

That being said, to this day I have trouble with understanding them ethics - and I had a good teacher in that subject.

And you're quite right - ethics can be twisted as much as morals, though it takes much more effort to justify said twisting through what I call 'ethical conmanship' when compared to morality-related reasons more often than not bound to religious and social/cultural points of view. After all, evidence can be forged, twisted and raped into shape to justify your goals - no matter how insane they are.
As for Epstein, methinks that he was silenced by many of his clients, not wishing to join him in his personal suite in Chateau' du Prison.

I should also mention that tumblr made the best sort of porn. Now, I don't much care for porn. It bores me. But I do read the comments section of clop fics for a laugh.
And tumblr presented the best kind of porn makers and viewers: the kind who looked at it, sneered at others for doing so, then claimed they did so for not lewd reasons. They were admiring the human form and celebrating wymin and, my personal favorite, showing how soooo much better they were then those prudish types and sooo much more culturally advanced.
It was glorious.
But more glorious was them self destructing and deleting 90% of their site, which was porn. Which was what they were against. Tumblr was the Chris Chan of websites

Twitter works better for me though.

The search engine was also pure garbage.

The real point was that someone needed to show why eugenics was not just bad but outright evil, and Hitler at least targeted a group that nobody else liked instead of the general category of "undesirables" that would have made more sense while also being a much greater atrocity. I'd say that applying time travel to that point of history has an unacceptably high chance of backfiring spectacularly.
