New Series Out On Ao3!

In my last blog, I teased a new series I was working on called Let Somepony Love You (Before It's Too Late), a ScootaBabs fic based on The Last Crusade. Well, I decided to release a "soft opening" of the first chapter up on Ao3 just now. I'll go through some final edits for it and release on here in a week or so. Hopefully sooner, but...Equestria, we have a problem.

Let me explain--I have this thing about releasing stories on Saturdays. I don't always do it, but when I do, it always feels a little more fulfilling to me. I can spend the rest of the day hanging out, watching true crime shows, and treating myself to pizza and ice cream without feeling too bad about it, because hey, at least I got something done. I was about to do it this Saturday, so that all of you would have access to it a couple of days after it came out until I kinda realized that this fandom has something else going on this Saturday.

Don't get me wrong--it would have been awesome to go to Bronycon, and I hope you all party your hearts out. But I'm not really sure if releasing something during it is the best idea. I feel like it would either result in A) FiMFiction being totally dead and no one reading it or B) all the big name authors choosing to release stuff during Bronycon, meaning that no one would read it. It's a rough timeslot either way, but part of me still wants to do it. Let me know what you all think about this release time!
